Nick was born in Chania, Crete.
Just 10 years old meet the real world through his first climbing experience and since then is addicted to extreme sports.
When we ask Nick about the surf he said:
Surfing is a driving passion for my life. I have been fortunate to feel an innate connection to its practice from the beginning, and I have structured my life so that I can be dedicated to it.
I am all discipline surfer. I like shortboard and longboard but also SUP surfing and Downwind and my primary objective is to be in the ocean. When everything goes flat I go on hammering mode to paddle the most until the waves are back!
My passion for surfing force me to spend a lot of time in the water where I try to surf or paddle the most and pushing my limits.

Kyriakos Fitrakis
I grow up as an athlete and spent many years of my life in the public pool as a water polo player. Growing up in a place like Chania my passion drew me quickly to the sea and after school, I became a lifeguard. This time I wanted to try a sport that allows me to be outdoors and I feel lucky that I met Chania Surf Club this time. I was inspired by the stoke and positive attitude of everyone I meet there and eventually I loved the sport of S.U.P. Now I’m a S.U.P racer and I live for the adventure and the freedom that sport offers!
